“From a young age, I have always been a dreamer… growing up, that has never changed – but what did change was my ‘understanding’ of what it is to dream: the perception of being asleep and the perception of being awake, and how that can ‘overlap’ within our lifetime.”

BACKGROUND: Corthan is a man who was born on the 1st of August in 1993 in Singapore, and has grown up in England as a half British and half Filipino. The western side of the world (and father) taught him of logic, science and the physical. The eastern side of the world (and mother) taught him of emotion, abstracts and the spiritual. Corthan had many experiences in his life both normal and even supernatural. He later recorded these events and shared them in his recent published book on Amazon “Amor Vincit Omnia (Love Conquers All)” in the year 2018. In the year of 2020 he created a documentary video on YouTube “Corthan Tortosa Bearder – Supernatural Testimony” reliving the events of his past and discussing these experiences. Corthan is a 4 year post-graduate Landscape Architect from England who has also completed the Gold Duke Of Edinburgh Award. After moving back to Philippines, he became the founder and is also a fellow co-owner of a family project. The area takes the form of a private organic farm and eco-tourism mountain resort in Negros Occidental. The project itself took 5 years to develop and startup from 2016 until 2021. The project is known as: The Divine Sanctuary (Tortosa Organic Farm) located next to Kabankalan City. If you are interested in the story and the creation of this project, the documentary, paperback, digital version and audiobook explains everything of the complete adventure, and the full journey of the family project so far.

SUMMARY: The Divine Sanctuary (Tortosa Organic Farm) was founded in August 2014, started in May 2016 and became an organic farm in June 2018. It is a family project of the Tortosa family to help the local community and to promote organic and sustainable farming. We hope to one day open as an eco-tourism mountain resort for people to visit, work, volunteer and be part of in the future. We aim to educate on farming, connect as well as help the community, share local culture, promote sustainable techniques and technology, to encourage outdoor activities and interaction with nature, to aid with employment and livelihood as well as help to grow the local people and visitors with their spiritual well-being.
